I work with teens and adults who are navigating identity, connection, and healing in a world that can feel overwhelming, confusing, or just plain exhausting. Many of my clients are neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, or both—but those aren’t requirements. You might be feeling anxious, burned out, stuck in grief or depression, questioning who you are, or simply worn out from trying to meet everyone else's expectations. You don’t need a diagnosis or a label to be here. If you’re a human with thoughts and feelings, you’re welcome.
How I work
Therapy with me is grounded in authenticity, curiosity, and relationship. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all approaches, and I’ll never pretend to be the expert on your life—you are. I’m here to walk alongside you while you explore, heal, and grow.
My work is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care and shaped by approaches that center your strengths, emotions, and lived experience. I tailor our sessions to what feels most helpful for you—whether that’s building skills, making sense of your thoughts and feelings, or simply having space to be fully seen and heard.
At Inclusive Minds Counseling, I’m committed to fostering a space where people of all identities, bodies, and abilities feel respected and celebrated. I practice through an anti-oppressive, neurodiversity-affirming, and LGBTQIA+ affirming lens—because therapy should be a place where all of you is safe to show up.
We might work well together if….
…you’re looking for a therapist who’s real, down-to-earth, and won’t stare at you silently for 50 minutes. I strive to create a space that feels safe, warm, and genuine—a place where you can breathe, bring your whole self, and not feel like you have to earn your worth.
You don’t need to mask here. Whether you need to stim, ramble, swear, cry, or just sit in silence—you're welcome as you are. Therapy with me includes humor, humanity, and the understanding that healing isn’t linear (and sometimes it’s weird and messy). You will find validation, curiosity, and someone who honors the complexity of your story.
If you want a therapist who celebrates neurospice, affirms all parts of your identity, and isn’t afraid to get real—we might be a great fit.
A bit more about me
Hi, I’m Donna (she/her). I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a queer and neurodivergent human, and the founder of Inclusive Minds Counseling, PLLC. I show up to this work as a real person, because I believe therapy works best when we can both be human.
Outside of sessions, I recharge by reading fantasy and mystery novels, traveling, collecting tattoos, playing board games and video games, and hanging out with my three beloved cats. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for 27 years, and we have two amazing adult kids. I’m also an avid collector of Groot figures and LEGOs—basically, anything a little nerdy and a lot joyful.
If any of this resonates, I’d love to connect. I offer a free 10–15 minute consultation so we can see if working together feels like a good fit. You’re welcome to reach out however feels most comfortable—text, call, or email:
